PLAY LEADER – Sam Beckingham
Sam is qualified to NVQ Level 3 and has 10 years experience in this field, she was the first person in the south of England to win the City and Guilds Medal of Excellence award in 2000 and continues to add to her qualifications whenever possible.

DEPUTY PLAY LEADER – Ruth Bradley
Ruth is qualified to NVQ Level 2 and is currently working towards Level 3. She has 3 years experience in childcare.



The Staff are employed directly by the parents committee and are appraised annually. The terms and conditions of staff employment are available on request. The responsibility of the staff is to ensure the safe smooth operation of the Playgroup on a daily basis.
Staff must have the proper clearance from local authorities before being able to work with the children.


Students or Helpers
Students under 18 may attend the Playgroup if they are referred by a recognised organization like a school or college for example.
Helpers must be over 18 years old.


Absent Staff
An approved committee member will replace the absent staff member.
